Prakash Modi, M.A. (Hons), LL.B (Hons), Managing Director
A partner with the firm since April 2006,and since incorporation, the Managing Director Prakash specialises in Residential conveyancing and Commercial Property as well as all types of family Law matters, including Divorce, Private Children’s matters, injunctions, and acting for parents in care proceedings. As part of Prakash's extensive portfolio he has successfully concluded a multi million pound asset case and has recently successfully pursued an application concerning a breach of human rights within the High Court.
He is a member of the Law Society Children's Panel, Law Society Family Law Panel
(Advanced), and the Solicitors Family Law Association (SFLA).
Sarah Townsend (formerly Wheelband), BA (Hons), Director
Sarah has been with the firm since 2001 dealing with all types of Matrimonial and Children Act proceedings, with specialist expertise in dealing with Social Services intervention, Care proceedings and Domestic Violence.
Sarah who became a director on incorporation, has been a Partner with this firm since April 2007 and is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel and Family Law Panel.
Katie Bott (formerly Walker)LL.B (Hons)
Katie joined our team in June 2006 as a Legal Clerk. Katie has now completed her Training Contract with the firm and has recently qualified as a Solicitor. Katie remains as a Solicitor within our family department dealing with cases where there is Social Services involvement, Children Law Cases and Domestic Violence cases
Avni qualified in February 2011. She undertakes all areas of Family Law.
Elaine Foster, Licensed Conveyancer
Elaine has been with Scutt Beaumont Solicitors Ltd since 1998 dealing with conveyancing matters and wills and probate. Elaine qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2008 and is licenced to deal with Probate matters
